Our Mission is to make Forests which are the most efficient ecosystem found in nature that, not only influence the plant and animals but also the abiotic elements like air, rainfall, temperature, etc. We hope to create more such forests in the future.

What We Do
We plan activities like forest walks where people can enjoy the forest and its inhabitants and also learn how to maintain it. We hope to create more such forests in the future. Raising forests will bring back some of the vitality our planet lost. By saving our planet, we save ourselves.

Green Shadows has aim to enhance urban green spaces by planting native species. Our goal is to plant ten million trees by 2030.

Such an effort is undertaken by Annapradokshana charitable trust conceived on the 5th of August 2016. We have undertaken four projects in raising forests in the last two years since 22nd September, 2018 by adopting the Akira Miyawaki Method of afforestation in and around the city of Pondicherry – Nonakuppam, Villianur, Saram and our most recent one in Kalapet.
