With this particular Akira miyawaki forest and value addition system, the trees supporting each other in order to grow faster compare to a classic plantation. The growing forest became a biodiversity shelter. The trees are so close that it’s impossible for humans to enter in.
The Akra miyawaki forest is a land use management system in which the trees are plant very close to each other and with a certain preparation of the ground. This technique can be in a city, so a land became a little island of biodiversity in a middle of a city.

How it works?
Akira miyawaki works towards land protection and conservation in specific and sunny area, the soil is carefully prepared. In one week, all the trees can be plant, depends of the size of the fields.
What are the Benefits?
Beside Akira Miyawaki benefits increasing biodiversity, having that much tree in a small place protect the ground from erosion and it stabilise the soil. The soil is more efficient to hold the water. Adding such a project in city to increase the quality of air because there are more trees to capture the carbon caused by pollution.
What is the cost?
In this project, the principal of Akira miyawaki forest project cost are the plants and the materials such as the mineral compost, the cow dung and the JBC machine. The project cost approximately 200 rupee per tree.
